For this handout assignment, the stakeholder I identified are the
International media students (age 19-25 years old) with an interest in communication and media

handouts are important as they provide prospective students with essential information about a university and it allows students to decide if the university of interest aligns with their prospective career goals.

How these handouts can be used for our stakeholder includes:
including material about our Big-12 title and the amount of sports advertising/media communications is put into our sports
including experiences of previous International students so that prospective ones can feel at home
providing examples of available resources and what students have created with the classes offered by the university.
The message is directed to students from various countries around the world that may want to understand how American media is created. In doing so, we are able to reach out to various communication and media students of different fields, regardless of their focus. As a result, these international students are not inclined by objective but are intrigued by the openness of the opportunity, comfort in their host institution and by the curiosity of understanding American/Western media.
Why is it important to find a stakeholder?
finding a stakeholder provides a tangible group of target audiences for a company, brand or institution. It allows these entities to build marketing strategies that are appealing to the targeted groups. In doing so, one is able to create a clearer, more defined message that resonates with the stakeholder.
Your message must be relatable to the stakeholder and understand the wants/desires and priorities of the stakeholder.

This quick 15 min article explains how to create a stakeholder analysis! Enjoy!
