Photoshop as I've said before is an amazing tool. I had initially learned how to use the program in digital design class in high school, but found it too complex. After my sophomore year and a decisive major change, I found myself using the program for more creative work and effects. I have used it in my fashion work during my study abroad in Barcelona to create effects and edits.

I think it should be approached like an art room with many mediums and creations to explore. I also highly recommend finding digital designers who can offer inspiration. In this way, you can figure out what kinda of designs you want to create. In doing so, you can follow their work as an example and find tutorials or digital design mentors. One of my favorite digital designers and editors is Alex Gowon. His artistic post-modern fashion-focused designs and styles have inspired how I frame my pictures, etc.
In addition, Photoshop is a good program to use for more business endeavors like creating handouts for companies or organizations. Below, I have included the two handouts I've created for this class.
