Stakeholders & Photoshop

  1. During the Photoshop projects, what helped me find my second stakeholder was by looking at the insecurities of my first stakeholder. Since my primary was students, I thought of the most influential connection they may have. Next I looked at how that subject would approach the situation and skepticism. With college students, I looked at who would take care of their finances, (i.e. parents).

  2. I typically create a checklist of what I want to see. From there, I have a color palette based on my organization's colors. Once a layout is created, I use ideas from my mood board to create my final design. Throughout the design process, I had many changes. Most of my changes were due to critiques from a second set of eyes. In doing so, someone else can see mistakes that I may not notice.

  3. Both programs felt similar in layout and very basic level formatting. I found Photoshop to be more creatively challenging but way more fun.

  4. Watch tutorials, follow digital designers on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. Try creating something new once a day or teaching yourself with programs.
